Tank Fish and Chippery Introduces New Poke Bowl Range for March

Known as one of Melbourne’s most loved fish and chipperies, Tank Fish and Chippery is adding a range of poke bowls to their menu throughout March. Pronounced ‘po-keh’, the dish’s name means ‘to cut’ or ‘to slice’ and is a type of raw fish salad popular in Hawaiian cuisine. Traditionally comprising of tuna or octopus, modern interpretations also incorporate salmon and other shellfish as a base ingredient. the new poke range will be available to try throughout March.
There will be four varieties available with a new one rotating every week including two variations of salmon poke bowls, one on rice with teriyaki sauce and the other with green soba noodles and zucchini pasta. A tuna poke bowl will comprise of seared fresh tuna with sesame seeds and rice while the final poke bowl will have a mix of both tuna and salmon on rice with hazelnuts, soya beans, spring onion and fried seaweed.
