#BeTomorrow Photographer | LIANE HURVITZ
Liane is originally from Africa and spent her early years in the end of and post apartheid South Africa.
"I'm from a long, long way away, culturally, economically and distance wise. It was a really exciting time to be part of such a political and social movement. Ultimately, the opportunities for photography are much bigger here, so I moved to Melbourne - I have African blood but Melbourne is truly home."
Liane completed a Photography Degree at RMIT and since then photography has been an evolving journey for her.
"For me the true beauty of photography is in its intricate blend of creativity, art, science and technology which is what I am naturally drawn to. You have to achieve mastery of all of these and have equal passion for the gadgets, the rules of light and the vision of what you want to create."
For Liane, Emporium stands for an emotional and social connection that she is proud to be part of.
"Emporium is in the epicentre of Melbourne, it's edgy, it's cool, it's in the heartbeat of our culture and activity and it's accessible to everyone - no matter which part of the city you call home."
In the future Liane is thinking big picture!
"I am big picture, big thinker, big ambition kind of girl...One perfect photo at a time. Your best photo should always be the last one you took. And that's what I bring to all my work and want to continue throughout my photographic career. "
Liane has moved aroundMelbourne a bit to keep her ideas & inspiration fresh - right now she resides in the inner south east.
