Celebrating the power of self-expression, the “Proud To Be” campaign launched May 16 with celebratory product
Love is more than a feeling – it’s an active expression of authenticity, individuality, and self-acceptance. It is a force that binds us all and manifests in various forms – whether it be for oneself, others, or pride in one's identity. Love defies boundaries, empowers soulful connection, and encourages bold living.
Converse has always stood with the unapologetic, spreading love to its communities through unwavering commitment. Specifically in its devotion to LGBTQIA+ folks, Converse proudly carries on with social and community impact partnerships as well as annual Pride campaigns and collections.
With the Chuck Taylor, Converse has also become a beacon of self-expression. Through its unassuming design and timeless accessibility, the silhouette transcends boundaries and serves as a canvas for personal stories. Having forged a deep emotional connection with its communities across decades, the Chuck is more than just a shoe – it’s a friend, partner, confidant. It’s an emblem of unity, belonging, and connection.
In that spirit, Converse taps into its potent symbol to bring the 2025 Proud To Be campaign to life and highlight the importance love, identity, and individuality.

Each year, Converse aims to meaningfully celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community by showcasing creators who are unapologetically themselves. This year, Converse reflects on its past and highlights All Stars who’ve participated in previous Proud To Be campaigns to share their stories and light the path forward.
Empowering seven members of the community, Converse prompted each All Star to write love letters to their future selves and visually capture their unique experiences. Serving as the 2025 campaign assets, their words and imagery center Converse Pride around authentic, textured, and deeply personal moments.

Converse Australia is proud to partner with Minus18. Minus18 is Australia’s largest youth-driven non-profit championing LGBTQIA+ young people.
Since our first PRIDE collection and campaign launch, Converse Australia has partnered with Minus18 to elevate LGBTQIA+ youth voices, celebrate identity and champion the importance of representation – letting queer youth know they’re supported and seen, and educating the wider community on the importance of allyship.
Product Collection
Presenting celebratory iterations of a classic style, Converse highlights the Chuck through iconic prints from its archive for the 2025 Proud To Be collection.
Concepted and designed by LGBTQIA+ employees and allies at Converse, the capsule was made to stand out with vibrant colours as well as animal and flame graphics. The collection highlights various iterations of the Chuck, including the Chuck Taylor All Star XXHi. Additional styles include the Chuck 70 and Chuck Taylor All Star, as well as two Converse Pride tees.
The Converse Proud To Be collection is now available on Lower Ground.
