TED BAKER WOMENSWEAR COLLECTION

The Ted Baker womenswear collection sees an injection of youthful attitude for high winter with a casual, day-focused wardrobe.

A soft, tonal colour palette is lifted with bright hits of cobalt blue and lime citrine. Silhouettes are a nod to the exaggerated proportions of the ‘60s and ‘80s.

Print continues to be key, with retro florals on fun cotton co-ords and a brushstroke motif on flippy mini dresses with full balloon sleeves and shirred, dropped waist. Elsewhere, statement animal prints are scaled up to punctuate satin midi dresses and jacquard sweaters.

The trend for leather continues, worn head to toe with an oversized shacket and cropped utility trouser. Elsewhere, it gives structure to mini dresses with voluminous puff sleeves.

Indigo rinse washed denim adds depth to the collection across tie waist jackets, patch pocket miniskirts and new wide leg shape jeans.

Unexpected details elevate staple pieces such as shirt dresses, with waist tabs and branded d-rings to cinch the waist.

Accessories see the introduction of a unisex quilted nylon range in various shapes from bum bags to oversized totes, with modular details for a utilitarian feel. The footwear offering includes simple vulcanized leather sneakers and square toe spaghetti strap sandals, which pick up on highlights across the tonal colour palette.

TED BAKER MENSWEAR COLLECTION

Ted Baker menswear offers a more relaxed, joyful wardrobe for high winter; with a British influence that celebrates the brand’s homeland.

The collection takes a more youthful approach to tailoring, using lightweight fabrics in a colour palette of soft pastels with vibrant pops of colour, inspired by Martin Parr’s vivid British photography. A fresh take on florals includes larger-scale hand drawn prints and embroidery, which punctuate revere collar shirts. An oversized brush stroke print and contrasting piping effortlessly elevate other styles.

British seaside inspired prints on swim shorts and graphic t-shirts add a playful touch, styled with nylon bucket hats in contrasting colours.

Elsewhere, modern utility is considered with colour blocking in shades such as taupe, sand and burgundy. Outerwear pieces including fishtail parkas and wadded gilets with multiple pockets have an urban edge and are crafted in technical, water repellent finishes.

Indigo rinse wash denim is worn head to toe, with refined seaming and a new wide fit shape in jeans for clean, contemporary dressing.

Accessories see the introduction of a unisex quilted nylon range in various shapes from bum bags to oversized totes, with modular details for a utilitarian feel. Footwear is understated in simple block colours, complementing the more relaxed way of dressing for the season.
