Camilla and Marc Autumn Winter 2018 Collection
06 Mar 2018
“I was captivated by the idea of a fantastical garden, in the eternal city of hope: signature collection prints of bourgeois gardens with diverse foliage, fruits, flowers and birds. Captivating, fascinating and seductive, the collection unleashes a moody aura through an elixir of poppies, peonies and emerald silks. This idea combined with a nod to 1930’s men’s tailoring allowed me to explore femininity and fashion in all its contradictory glory.” Camilla Freeman-Topper
Camilla and her design team explore the ideals of a dreamlike, fantastical beauty, opening the collection with signature hand-illustrated prints and bold pops of colour on diaphanous silks and georgettes. February opens with a crimson poppy print in yoryu georgette, a luxe emerald silk satin chiffon, and navy pop-colour polka dots. March heralds the Albertina Print, a moody garden print on a dark green base with flowers, foliage, fruits and birds in silk georgette. The fantastical rounds out with a Peony Print on georgette in jewel royal blue, a mix of gathering, sunray pleating, ruching with raw edge frills and dentelle lace trims with edges so fine that the boundary between skin and lace is blurred.
Their key message of luxury and tailoring for the modern woman that feels independent, confident and always special remains the core of this Autumn Winter 2018 collection design.
