Parisian powerhouses Sandro Paris and Maje launching in March
15 Mar 2018
Parisian powerhouses Sandro Paris and Maje will be launching two beautiful boutiques in Emporium Melbourne this March. Like no other brands, Sandro Paris and Maje ooze parisienne chic.
Known for its clean lines and sophisticated aesthetic, Sandro is a leading accessible luxury Parisian brand featuring refined and versatile collections. Evelyne Chetrite, founder and creative director since 1984, developed a new women's aesthetics: modern and sophisticated with a hint of androgyny.
Her vision of femininity is the basis for her designs; she focuses on her favourite area of expression, the masculine-feminine equation, and shares an indisputable Parisian elegance with those she dresses. Evelyne designs unambiguous clothes to wear by an urban girl who hones a discreet look, only to be all the more visible for it, a Parisian wardrobe mixing streetwear pieces and feminine details.
Maje is a beautiful story, an eclectic wardrobe mirroring the image of its creator’s passion and effervescence. Established in 1998, creator Judith Milgrom prefers to think that a garment has a soul and can tell a story. The history of Maje captures this delicate philosophy. Maje is like a novel about a young girl, fascinated by fabrics, embroideries and lace, just like her mother and grandmother, from whom she learned.
The Maje style sketches a subtle difference between modernity and quirkiness, with authentic pieces and sharp details; a spirit that is resolutely feminine, understated, glamourous and bold.
Look out for the brands opening Wednesday 28th March 2018.
