SWAROVSKI - Celebrating 125 years
01 Jul 2020
Founded by Daniel Swarovski in 1895, Swarovski has cemented its position as a world leader in crystal creations thanks to its cutting-edge techniques. This year, Swarovski will mark 125 years of heritage, mastery, innovation and glamour through a very special 125th Anniversary Collection, as well as a series of celebrations that will take place during the year.
The 125th Anniversary Collection will see best-selling Swarovski creations reimagined in its signature blue to reflect the brand’s inimitable style, sparkle and legendary story. This anniversary is a milestone for Swarovski’s legacy and an opportunity to look forward to a sparkling future of innovation.
Marking its 125th year anniversary and ongoing mission to add sparkle to people’s lives all over the world, Swarovski will plant 125 trees for every day, from 24th June to 31st December, to support reforestation efforts in Australia.
In partnership with Carbon Neutral, the campaign will result in a total of 24,000 trees being planted in the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor, a stretch of land in Southwest Australia that is one of only 35 biodiversity hotspots around the world. The Corridor connects the coast with inland habitats and is a vital part of Australia’s environment. Originally cleared in the early 1900s for farming, the reforestation of the land aims to remove carbon from the atmosphere as well as creating a safe habitat for hundreds of native flora and fauna.
